Your Azure Subscription may be shared by several people.  One day, you discovered that some resources cost you a lot of money, and you want to figure out who created the resources.  In this case, Azure Activity Log can help you.

The Azure Activity Log is primarily for activities that occur in Azure Resource Manager, not those using the Classic/RDFE model.

You can navigate to the Activity Log using the menu on the left side of the Azure portal.

In the Activity Log blade, you can search for the events related to the resources.  The person who created the resource is displayed in the ‘Event Initiated By’ column.
